About The Tour

The French Language course

Delphine Sinclair will conduct a 20-hour intensive French course. The classes will take place in the mornings after your breakfast. The course will be tailored to the level of the participating students. We will cover the four macro-skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a strong focus on speaking in every day situations. Après tout, nous sommes en France.

Your host

Delphine Sinclair founded A La Française in 2007. Delphine is from the Languedoc Roussillon region and lived many years in Montpellier. Her father's family used to own vineyards around Montpellier and harvest the wine themselves.

As a French teacher of both secondary students and adults, she wanted her pupils to be able to immerse themselves in the French language and discover her favourite part of the world. In this venture Delphine combines her two passions; teaching languages and showing off the South of France.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Modern Languages majoring in French, Italian and English, Delphine then completed a Diploma of Education in 2003.

She has lived and studied in France (Montpellier), the French Pacific (New Caledonia) and Italy (Perugia, Rome) and has many years of teaching experience, tutoring and teaching French, Italian and ESL, privately and in secondary schools. Delphine currently lives and works in Paris.
